Renee passed away after a courageous battle with cystic fibrosis. She was a child who lit up the room when walking in; people were drawn to her. Renee loved her brother, Ryan, swimming (Orcas 2009, 2010), Disneyland, the movies Lion King and Curious George, and was an avid Wii player. She was an ambassador for UMC Diamond Children’s Hospital and a Make-A-Wish recipient in 2007. We can all learn from Renee about unconditional love, determination, and facing hardship without complaint. She is an inspiration to many.
